QotD: Books From My Childhood
What books did you love as a child?

How could I not answer to this QotD? :D My favourite author as a child was Enid Blyton. Reading her books is like imagination taking a flight. I loved all her books and would spend time in the school library devouring her books. So much so I sneaked reading her books under the orangey light bulb we used to have back in the 80s. That's why I am a specky now.
I bought the Enchanted Wood series for my cousin and bought the Wishing chair set for myself last year. I would also love to re-read the Malory Towers Series. I would love to own all these books with one requirement to have the original illustrations. It's just not the same with the new versions.
