Life in mono
I AM SO GLAD that hubb's 3 weeks of reservist duty is coming to an end. He wastes tax payer's money by being an overqualified watchman. His schedule is pretty odd this time round. His guard duty is on either a 27 hour or 24 hour shift, but it all means he comes home on alternate days. At first I was gungho about taking care of Alex alone. I even brought Alex out to have a nice dinner with the foodie girls. Then things spiralled down all the way.
First Alex started teething, which I was ecstatic about and by now, the excitement pretty much chilled... The teeth has sprouted since last week. During the time when I first saw the slit on his lower gum and till last night, I don't have a good night sleep. He is fussy with a capital 'F'! And his bites... he bit me twice so far. Still 20+ teeth to go!
Then my bro's wedding... helped him to source and decided on a ROM package. The most stressful part was the drama in the household over my brother's choice of a wife and the truth that my mother managed to dig out. It was ugly but I wasn't there to witness. I spared my ears to my mom and bro, so much so that I told my brother to call off the ROM. But still ROM is a done deal. I hope my bro will live happily with his wife.
The lack of sleep and stress made me declare to hubb that I am going kee siao (read: crazy)! And what do I do when I am stress? I eat more. :(
The last thing... I don't think I am pregnant and I shouldn't be but yesterday's pukings made me recall the recent pregnant episode and I don't want a #2 so soon!
That's all. The past few weeks in a few paras. I must focus on the positives! Carpe diem!
